We are located on twenty, beautiful acres just north of Huntsville, Texas. In January 2008, we finished our studio and are now open for classes. Opportunities to study with other visiting artists will offer a wide variety of classes from which to choose. Commissioned art pieces, custom tile murals, and original art pieces are available through our studio.
What makes our classes stand out from the all the others? We try really hard to give our students more than what they might expect. Our new studio is beautiful and set in a lovely, wooded area conducive to creating something beautiful. The class size is limited to usually 6, but no more than 8. Each student has 3' of working space and a whole set of new tools and supplies. Our classes are well-prepared, organized, and full of information. THEY START ON TIME! They do not always end on time if our students need an extra hour to finish....we stay with you.

Updates for Spring and Summer Classes
Open Studio
Every month we have open studio time for those that have taken classes or are experienced in glass cutting, grinding, and/or fusing. A fee of $7.00/hr. is charged for the use of all tools and equipment. Firing will be additional. We will always be available to answer questions during this time.
Studio hours are the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 until 3:30 unless we have a class scheduled for that day. During the week we will be open every Tuesday from 9:00 until 1:00 and 6:00 until 9:00. Special arrangements may be made by appointment. Please call and make reservations as we limit the studio to 6.
Upcoming Classes
Please call 936-291-0975 for information or to sign up for classes. A deposit of half is required to register for the class and may be paid by check or money order. When payment is received, we will enroll you in the class. The second half is due the morning of the class. If there is a cancellation, we will give you credit for another class in the future. No refunds will be made. If classes fill, then we will keep a waiting list of up to 4 people.
We've been working on our schedule for the next few months, and are excited about what we have planned. We are especially excited about our four day workshop for those that are just beginning fusing and want to learn alot in one fell swoop! That happens in June. But, July the 4th will be another huge class for those that already fuse and just want to make a gorgeous, huge, floral wall hanging...we're trying to talk John into sailboat panels next time. Fusing 101
August 9 - 10, 2008 - 9:30 am - 4:30 pm both days

Fusing for beginners will teach you all of the basics from beginning to end including cutting, grinding, glass compatability, kiln preparation and operation, fusing, slumping and annealing. You will create a piece of jewelry and/or a set of coasters and a small plate or bowl (approx. 8 inches) using frit, stringers, confetti, dichroic glass, and sizzle sticks. Our classes offer large work spaces, ample tools, technical notes, and small classes of only 6-8 students.
Labor Day Fusing Extravaganza
August 30 - September 1, 2008 - 10:00 am - 4:30 pm each day
Cost: $550.00 - Includes everything!
If you missed the class in June or July, you can make it up over the holiday! We are going to do a little of both the Contemporary class AND the Floral class for those that are just starting! We'll do two great projects that encompass cutting, design, tools, kiln operation, slumping, and more...much more! Then we'll have fun with a floral project...but no a small task! There's so much to learn! Three days packed with a lot of fun and a lot of work. We'll introduce to you frit, sizzle sticks, stringers, confetti, compatible Bullseye glass, dichroic glass and more. Don't wait! Classes fill quickly.

Mosaics in Glass

Haven't you always loved a beautiful mosaic? Well, we are going to create a lovely large plate or table top (approx.14"). We'll start with cutting, grinding, and design, as well as, some technical aspects of glass. Frit, confetti, and stringers will be utilized to accent our pieces as well. Come join us as we play with color and light!
